Patience = $$ saving

Since I've become more frugal and fun!! =) I've had to learn patience. I recently won a i-pod from my work and of course they do not come with the car charger or case. I shopped around at the local stores, Best Buy, Target, and Walmart to name a few and all the car charger/wall chargers were around $30. I was going on a trip in a week and wanted to play around with my new toy while my husband drove 9 hours to Polson, MT. I decided to try my luck and look on Amazon.com and I found a computer, car, wall charger, with a silicon cover, arm band, and ear phones for $10.00. I had to tell myself it's worth the wait to save the money. I lived without my i-pod for 27 years. I could live another week with just charging on the computer and if it didn't last the trip then I could just deal with it.

Entertainment Books

I know it's been a while since I posted something. but I'm going to try to be better at posting great deals and finds!!

I buy 5 Sunday newspapers strictly for the coupons and ads. My children's school sells coupon books at the beginning of each year as a fundraiser. The books generally cost $20. I bought a book last year and it paid for itself in the first week. I would strongly recommend getting this book it's more than just dining out you can save on. There are also many local attractions that you can get into for half price. We saved $10 at Thanksgiving point and bowling and jump houses.
